I am excited about the opportunity to lead Midland Valley High School. Mr. Marc Funderburká -á Assistant Principal

Biography:

á

Mr. Funderburk began his teaching career at South Florence High School in 1982.á He has worked as a school administrator for the Aiken County School District since 2000.á During that time he has worked at North Augusta High School, Jackson Middle School, and Midland Valley High School.á He earned his B.A. in Economics from Wofford College.á He has an M.Ed. in School Administration and Supervision from Winthrop University.á He also holds an Ed.S. From the University of South Carolina in Administration and Supervision.á

Mrs. Kristie Brooks - Assistant Principal

Biography:

Mrs. Brooks has worked for Aiken County Schools since 2010. Before coming to Aiken County, she worked for Greenville County Schools as a Special Education teacher. She has a B.S. Degree in Special Education (Southern Wesleyan University) and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership (Anderson University).

Mr. Jason Schumpert - Assistant Principal

Biography:

Mr. Schumpert began his teaching career at McCormick High School where he taught U.S. History and coached.á He moved to Laurens where he continued to teach and coach for seven years.á In 2013 he was hired by Aiken County Schools as an Assistant Principal.á He has a B.S. Degree in Physical Education from Lander, M. Ed in Sports Management/Marketing from United States Sports Academy, and M. ED in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.á
